thoughts conflicting
two opposite views
one much stronger than other
the view that tells me love will conquer
i like this thought
i only want this thought to exist
i dont want my thoughts to conflict
another thought tells me to quit
or else the heartache i feel will persist
but my love is too great to listen
to this thought and give in
i have become too determined
a thought tells me never will i give up
and another says when will i get fed up
with putting my everything into her
just so maybe i can hear those words
i long to hear them so deeply
i only hear them in my dreams while i am sleeping
three small words is all i want to hear from you
and those words are 'i love you'
